Christmas Concert
We had an absolutely wonderful time at our school Christmas Concert last week! It was amazing to feel the true Christmas spirit. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Reedman and Mr. Coleman for their incredible efforts in preparing our students for this special event. This year we were very fortunate to have our superb parent band accompany the students throughout the evening they were truly amazing!
I also want to extend my gratitude to all the staff who pitched in to set up, tidy, and help organize the students—these events shine because of your support. A special shout-out to our incredible P&F for bringing in the delicious food vans that added even more warmth to our Christmas celebrations! Thank you all for making this evening a magical celebration of the Christmas spirit!
Year 6 Graduation
Congratulations to our Year 6 students and their families on their Graduation. It's been truly inspiring to see the tremendous growth in all our Year 6 students. Here's to wishing them the very best as they embark on their high school adventure!
Christmas Wishes
I'm grateful to both our dedicated staff and supportive families for their continuous efforts in shaping our school into the wonderful place it is today. At Good Shepherd, one of the aspects I deeply admire is our commitment to nurturing the diverse talents and gifts our students possess through our varied program. Our aim is to empower every child to reach their academic heights while prioritizing their spiritual, social, and emotional growth. As the festive season approaches, I extend warm wishes for a joyful Christmas and hope you all can relish some precious family moments together.
God Bless

Premier’s Reading Challenge Prize
This morning we were awarded our Premier’s Reading Challenge Prize with WA author/ illustrator Sean E Avery who presented our students with an amazing session that included Storytime from his book “Frank’s Red Hat”.
Sean illustrated a character from his “Friendly Bee” series as well as being treated to an illustration session where students were able to draw with Sean. The students loved drawing Frank the Penguin.
Sean has kindly donated a wonderful signed and illustrated Frank’s Red Hat poster as well as a Friendly Bee signed illustration for our library.
What an inspiring, engaging, and entertaining session and a great message of not giving up and always giving it a go.
Thank you to everyone for all your support in the Premier’s Reading Challenge.
Please note Certificates for this challenge will be issued to year 6 only today due to a delay in the mailing house and the remainder will be issued in 2024.
Keep up the reading and have a wonderful holiday break.
Thank you so much.
