Father’s Day Celebration

We had a super special time during our P&F Father's Day afternoon, and it made us really happy to see lots of dads and father figures there with us. Even though we got a little bit of rain, we all had so much fun! A big thank you to the P&F for planning the yummy sausage sizzle and all the fun things our dad’s and kids got to do.

Athletics Carnival

A reminder that next Friday we have our Athletics carnival. Parents are welcome to attend. Please ensure that you are following all parking rules inside and outside of school grounds especially along Sugargum Rise.

National Child Protection Week

National Child Protection Week runs from 3rd to 9th September and will continue to embrace the overarching message that ‘Every child, in every community, needs a fair go’. This message captures the essence of National Child Protection Week which aims to promote a safe and supported life for every child, now and into the future. Online Safety

At Good Shepherd we continue to hear about our students, even those in younger years, that are being exposed to inappropriate images online. Can I please urge all parents to ensure they are monitoring their child’s online activity. There is valuable advice available at https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents to assist with ways of keeping children safe.

Confirmation

Please keep our Year Six students and children from the Parish in your prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend. We look forward to celebrating with them as they undertake this milestone in their spiritual development.
