Principal Message

WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY

Thank you to our amazing P&F for their contribution to World Teachers’ Day! On Thursday 26th October, our P&F will be thanking and acknowledging the hard work and dedication of all our staff by providing them with a small gift. I will also be providing staff with a morning tea, so I better get started baking!!

NFL

At the end of last term, a selection of year 6 students took part in an NFL competition. They came away as winners!! They will now represent WA in a national competition held in Queensland. All flights, accommodation, and food is paid for by NFL. We wish them all the best!!!

Vision for learning

The staff have spent the last year developing a Vision for Learning which outlines what we believe is important to develop life long learners. A big thankyou to all staff for all their hard work in developing this vision. A special mention to Miss Naylor, Miss Sankar, Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Morell, Mrs Purnell and Mrs Jennings for their inspirational ideas on the producing the finial Vision.

Fencing

Over the school holidays the fencing around the oval was upgraded. The fencing is now 1.8m high which is a great deterrent for unwanted visitors over the weekend and school holidays.

Annual Community Meeting

Our Annual Community Meeting will be held on Monday 6th November at 6pm in the Hall. This will be a combination of the School Advisory Council and P&F. All parents are encouraged to attend. Please see details sent yesterday regarding becoming a member of these committees.

God Bless
