Academic Extension is a specialised program designed to engage and challenge selected students in the upper years of primary school. Facilitated by a dedicated specialist teacher, the program provides opportunities for students to explore complex ideas through project-based learning with a strong focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Students work both independently and collaboratively on in-depth investigations that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Through this program, children are supported to extend their understanding beyond the standard curriculum, build problem-solving skills, and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts in meaningful and engaging ways.
